sweetgreen x TILA Studios

Built brand & store design strategy for Atlanta, a new market in 2021. Developed a toolkit of FF&E & in-store visuals that would tap into the local maker’s culture in Atlanta. Led partnership with TILA studios, a collective committed to developing and empowering Black women artists to create & showcase their work. The sg x TILA partnership curated & developed all custom artworks installed for the Atlanta market.

The partnership touched all facets of sweetgreen’s Atlanta market entry strategy — in-store opening activations, digital content, art direction, store design, and marketing. The successful results demonstrated sweetgreen’s ethos of win-win-win, where the customer, community, and company succeed together.

Honey Pierre

Honey’s large-scale installation serves as a connecting thread to the maker culture throughout the interior design. Showcased at sweetgreen Ponce City Market, her piece uses organic shapes to express a transition between the seasons.

Neka King

A local digital illustrator and muralist whose work adorns the entire wall at 14th & Peachtree. The series tells the story of Atlanta’s agricultural history, while also being inspired by sweetgreen’s own food ethos.

Michelle Norris

Added more color to the mix with art from local artist Michelle Norris, whose work is inspired by the seasons. For her installation at sweetgreen Lenox Square, Michelle’s sunny palette imbues a sense of joy and playful curiosity through the layering of shapes and materials inspired by Georgia’s native fruit, flowers, and vegetables.
