Becca Lester is a Multidisciplinary Designer & Creative Director, known for her keen eye and extreme attention to detail. She has a coordinated design strategy balancing art & science to consistently create unique sets of design expressions.

Her work has been recognized by numerous design organizations and publications including Architectural Digest, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, among others. In 2022 Becca was named among Retail Touchpoint’s 40 Under 40.

During her 7-year tenure at sweetgreen, Becca’s leadership in design and prototyping was integral to the company’s success, including their 2021 IPO. As sweetgreen embarked into a rapid growth stage, she maintained intimate design details at scale. Becca developed and led a hyper-localized art program, collaborating with renowned artists like Jen Stark, Peter Shire, André Saraiva, Cody Hudson, and Alex Proba, bringing local relevance to each of sweetgreen's locations.

Becca is passionate about the intersection of architectural design, art, the in-store experience, and how these design elements can be conversational.  She is highly influenced by Japanese design after spending 3 years between NY and Tokyo designing for Uniqlo.

Becca received her BFA from Parsons School of Design. She currently lives with her husband David, daughter Noa, and dog Pistachio in the East Village, NYC.
